Gary Kimball
Gary Kimball is president of Kimball Communications. He has 25 years experience in public relations and is a recognized expert in crisis communications planning and response. A frequent speaker on crisis communications, Gary also serves on the board of directors of the Insurance Marketing Communications Association (IMCA).
Before founding Kimball Communications, Gary served in senior public relations roles, including his position from 1988-1994 as director of corporate communications for Independence Bancorp, a $3 billion financial services company. There he led an award-winning public relations, investor relations and crisis communications program.
For 12 years, he was an adjunct professor of communications at Muhlenberg College and DeSales University. A former journalist, he has a master's degree in journalism from Boston University and a bachelor's degree in government from Colby College.
Kelly Prentice
Kelly Prentice is an experienced corporate communications professional who brings results-oriented media relations and writing skills to the clients of Kimball Communications.
At Good Shepherd, an Allentown, Pa.-based rehabilitation hospital network serving more than 30,000 patients, Kelly led a successful media relations campaign, spearheaded an award-winning fund-raising and marketing effort and served as speechwriter for the president and CEO.
She has served as associate editor of IR World, an applied technology magazine published by Ingersoll-Rand Company. Kelly earned a bachelor's degree in English from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pa., and studied science and technical writing at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.
Elizabeth Rubino
Elizabeth Rubino is media relations coordinator for Kimball Communications. She monitors media activity for clients, manages print and online clipping services and supports communications efforts for the firm.
Prior to joining Kimball Communications in 2007, Liz worked in health care and medical management. She attended Kent State University.
Elyse Altiere
Elyse Altiere is a public relations assistant at Kimball Communications. She works primarily on writing, monitoring and outreach for our client's social media efforts, as well as assisting on traditional PR activities.
She previously worked as a public relations intern at Devon
International Group in King of Prussia, Pa. where she had a role in
social media strategy and research, as well as traditional PR
activities. Elyse earned her BA in communications (with an emphasis on
public relations) from Immaculata University in Immaculata, Pa.
